Das, was man sieht, sind die Spuren seiner Geschichte, in der Estland immer wieder besetzt wurde &#8211; von D\u00e4nemark, Deutschland, Ru\u00dfland (die Liste ist sicherlich unvollst\u00e4ndig). Insbesondere die Sovietzeit hat unsch\u00f6ne Spuren hinterlassen. Und die vielen Baustellen zeigen einfach nur an, da\u00df heftig auf einen sch\u00f6neren Zustand hingearbeitet wird. Und in der sehr sch\u00f6nen Altstadt ist nichts davon zusehen &#8230; .<\/p>\n<p>Estland befindet sich im Aufschwung &#8211; und da es praktisch keine Bodensch\u00e4tze gibt, hat es sich vor allem auf IT etc. ausgerichtet. In vielen Dingen ist es Vorreiter &#8211; ich nenne hier nur das Thema e-Residency. Und neben den alten Stadtteilen gibt es auch neue und solche mit einer gemischten Bebauung &#8211; mit supermodernen Geb\u00e4uden. auch die Esten. Sie sind zun\u00e4chst recht introvertiert, erweisen sich dann aber als sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und gastfreundlich. Ein Beispiel ist die im vorherigen Beitrag beschriebene Einladung, die estische Weise die Mitsommernacht zu begehen, kennen zu lernen. Von anderer Seite bekamen wir Tips f\u00fcr lohnenswerte Ausflugsziele &#8211; und wurden auch noch dort hingefahren.<\/p>\n<p>Naturliebe scheint hier sehr im Vordergrund zustehen. Bei meinen Zeitrafferaufnahmen zur Mitsommernacht (vorheriger Beitrag) blieben einige bis morgens um 3:00 am Strand und um 4:00 kamen bereits die n\u00e4chsten, um den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen. Ich kann sie nur m\u00f6gen &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Schlie\u00dflich gibt es noch unsere University, derentwegen wir ja gekommen sind: Alles beginnt (nat\u00fcrlich) mit der Registrierung und vielen Hallos. Wir treffen viele Teilnehmer vom Vorjahr in Barcelona und die Wiedersehensfreude ist jedes Mal gro\u00df. Und es gibt jede Menge neue Teilnehmer zu begr\u00fc\u00dfen &#8211; die Teilnehmerzahl hat sich verdreifacht. Alles ist weit professioneller geworden. Das Team hat sich unglaublich ins Zeug gelegt.<\/p>\n<p>Von der Themenseite ist die erste Woche \u00fcberwiegend dem Thema Estonia (Estland) gewidmet: Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten, Geschichte, .Charakter der Menschen, Wetter (nicht zu vergessen) &#8211; und vor allem dem Thema e-Residency. Ein e-Resident kann innerhalb weniger Minuten in Estland ein Bankkonto und eine Firma er\u00f6ffnen sowie Dienstleistungen in Estland in Anspruch zu nehmen. Das Programm zielt in erster Linie auf ortsunabh\u00e4ngige Unternehmer &#8211; etwa Software-Entwickler oder Autoren. Es erfolgt alles online. Hier ist Estland Vorreiter. Eine gro\u00dfe Chance f\u00fcr die Digital Nomads &#8211; und einige Teilnehmer haben die Chance genutzt. Die vielen Caf\u00e9s und Restaurants auf den breiten Boulevards, durch die wir oft mitten hindurch gingen, vermitteln N\u00e4he und Vertrautheit, und die Menschen steckten uns mit ihrer Ausgelassenheit an. Die W\u00e4rme &#8211; f\u00fcr uns oft Hitze &#8211; macht die Menschen offen und frei. So war es auch in der Universit\u00e4t. Nach einer Woche kannte jeder jeden und wir begegneten uns mit Herzlichkeit, Umarmungen und vielen Gespr\u00e4chen.<\/p>\n<p>Anders in Tallinn. Hier ist es windig und k\u00fchl. Die Menschen sind still und verschlossen. Nur in der Altstadt, wo \u00fcberwiegend Touristen herumlaufen, ist es lebendiger und lauter. In der Universit\u00e4t sind diesmal 3 mal so viele Studenten und man kennt nur wenige. Auch durch die B\u00fchne, auf der die Redner stehen &#8211; entfernt von den Zuh\u00f6rern &#8211; f\u00fchlt es sich unpers\u00f6nlicher an, was die hohe Qualit\u00e4t der Vortr\u00e4ge aber nicht mindert. Und die Vertrautheit wird mit der Zeit sicherlich wachsen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Stadt Tallinn f\u00e4llt durch ihre Gegens\u00e4tze auf. Die Altstadt ist wundersch\u00f6n mit ihren Pl\u00e4tzen, alten Geb\u00e4uden, vielen Kirchen und Caf\u00e9s. Sie lebt von den Touristen und ist f\u00fcr die Touristen gestaltet. Etwas abseits von den gro\u00dfen Pl\u00e4tzen gibt es noch die alten Holzh\u00e4user, z. T. bilderbuch sch\u00f6n restauriert. Ein besonders altes gepflegtes Geb\u00e4ude ist die 500 Jahre alte Apotheke am Rand des Rathausplatzes, die bis heute in Betrieb ist.<\/p>\n<p>Ja, die alten Holzh\u00e4user, sie faszinieren uns ganz besonders ! Je weiter wir in die Au\u00dfenbezirke kommen, desto mehr entdecken wir. Sie strahlen W\u00e4rme und Gem\u00fctlichkeit aus und haben manchmal noch ganz oben den Holzbalken vom Flaschenzug. Aber viele von ihnen sind auch verfallen, ihren Bewohnern fehlt wohl das Geld, sie zu pflegen. Guckt man in die Fenster, so erstaunt das sch\u00f6n gestaltete &#8220;Innenleben&#8221;. In so einem Holzhaus wohnen wir f\u00fcr 5 Wochen, im Kalamaja Bezirk in der N\u00e4he vom Kultuurikatel, wo es noch viele davon gibt. Es ist gem\u00fctlich und wir f\u00fchlen uns wohl hier. Ich genie\u00dfe besonders die N\u00e4he zu dem kleinen Hafen, auf den wir vom Fenster aus schauen und wo Michael das Nachtvideo gemacht hat. Aber leider gibt es auch einige vollkommen verfallene, l\u00e4ngst verlassene Holzh\u00e4user, und ich stelle mir dann vor, wie es sich einstmals darin hat wohnen neuen Industriestadt hervorlugt, wo es sich nicht hat verdr\u00e4ngen lassen !<br \/>\nGenau das sind die Gegens\u00e4tze von Tallinn. Auf der einen Seite die gestylte Altstadt, die so kuscheligen Holzh\u00e4user und dann die neuen Stadtteile der aufstrebenden Wirtschaft und Industrie. Dort hab ich mich gar nicht wohl gef\u00fchlt, als wir von dem sch\u00f6nen Kadriorg-Park wieder zur\u00fcckliefen und diesen Teil der Stadt mit ihren Hochh\u00e4usern und dem dichten Verkehr durchqueren mu\u00dften.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Der Kadriorg Park<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Kadriorg Park ist eine besonders sch\u00f6ne Anlage \u00f6stlich von Tallinn ganz nah am Meer. Einer sehr lieben Tallinnerin, die dort arbeitet, lag es am Herzen, uns den Park zu zeigen. Sie hat uns abgeholt und mit ihren Zwillingen ein St\u00fcckchen &#8211; bis zum Spielplatz &#8211; durch den Park begleitet. Die alten, z. T. verwachsenen B\u00e4ume haben uns besonders gefesselt, Wiesen mit wilden Blumen und dann der Japanische Garten. Hier gibt es viel Wasser, Ruhesteine und wundersch\u00f6ne Blumen &#8211; eine meditative Stimmung.
