Also machten wir uns an dem Samstag bei sch\u00f6nem Wetter auf den Weg.<\/p>\n<p>Der Ort war voll von alten Fahrzeugen. Ich war schon 2\u00a0 Mal dort. Dieses Mal &#8211; oder an diesem Tag &#8211; dominierten die amerikanischen Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, Plymouth der 50er Jahre. Diese Fahrzeuge fallen durch ihre Gr\u00f6\u00dfe, die breiten verchromten K\u00fchlergrills und die teilweise extrem gro\u00dfen Heckflossen auf. Es war die Zeit der Petticoats. Auf den 10 verschiedenen B\u00fchne wurde entsprechende Musik gespielt und man konnte neben passender Kleidung auch (funktionsf\u00e4hige) R\u00f6hrenradios und Fernseher erwerben. Sch\u00f6n anzuschaun waren die Rock-n-Roll-T\u00e4nzer (das Video mu\u00df leider ohne Ton bleiben). Offensichtlich wird diese Tanzart in verschiedenen Tanzklubs gepflegt.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tQm2lV4hexk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Wir nehmen uns zum Abschlu\u00df noch Zeit f\u00fcr den Besuch der sch\u00f6nen Burgruine des Ortes.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QOMG6vNQhOk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Christa hat es alte Erinnerungen wachgerufen &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ein Sprung zur\u00fcck in der Zeit<\/strong><br \/>\n(von Christa)<\/p>\n<p>Hunderte blankgeputze, blitzende Autos jeden Alters stehen aufgereiht in allen Stra\u00dfen des Ortes.<\/p>\n<p>Besonders auff\u00e4llig die \u00fcberlangen amerikanischen Stra\u00dfenkreuzer aus den 50er Jahren,\u00a0 reich ausgestattet, lederbesetzt in rosa, t\u00fcrkies, mokka, lila &#8230; un\u00fcbersehbar sich in den Vordergrund dr\u00e4ngend.<\/p>\n<p>Auch deutsche Autos aller Typen &#8211; vor allem der VW-K\u00e4fer mit Schiebedach oder offenem Verdeck (so einen hatte ich mal!) sowie viele franz\u00f6sische Fahrzeuge &#8211; waren dort zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Und schau, ganz bescheiden an einer Stra\u00dfenecke, klein und unauff\u00e4llig ein Messerschmitt Kabinenroller aus den 50er Jahren. Meine gro\u00dfe Schwester bereitete sich f\u00fcr die Aufnahmepr\u00fcfung an der Musikhochschule in Basel mit dem Fach Kirchenmusik vor. Um an der Orgel zu \u00fcben, mu\u00dfte sie jeweils 20 km nach Westerland fahren.<\/p>\n<p>Die Fahrten mit der Inselbahn dauerten zu lange. Also bekam sie eines Tages einen silbergrauen Kabienenroller &#8211; eine absolute Rarit\u00e4t auf der Insel.<\/p>\n<p>Die alte Dorfkirche hatte eine Orgel, die noch nicht elektrifiziert war. Also mu\u00dfte ich mit und den Blasebalg treten, w\u00e4hrend sie \u00fcbte (kein atraktiver Job, aber ich bekam daf\u00fcr Klavierstunden).<\/p>\n<p>Sie war 20 Jahre alt, ich 15, beide langbeinig und 1,78 gro\u00df. Wenn wir \u00fcber die Seitenwand von oben in den Roller stiegen, standen die Nachbarn neugierig herum und am\u00fcsierten sich. Beim Herausklettern in Westerland vor der Kirche wurden wir genauso bestaunt. Wie lange sie gebraucht haben, wei\u00df ich nicht mehr. Meine Mutter hat die Fahrt jedenfalls genossen!<\/p>\n<p>Und jetzt stand da einfach so ein Kabinenroller auf dem B\u00fcrgersteig neben all den gestylten Limousinen.
